Oller Abogados serves as local counsel for Easybets.com in sale to BETonSPORTS plc

San José – Oller Abogados has successfully advised Easybets.com and its locally based business, on a transaction with BETonSPORTS plc, a leading online gaming company. The deal was estimated initially at $15MM but could amount to $32,5MM given certain provisions within the agreement.

DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary ("DLA Piper") served as the leading firm on behalf of Easybets.com and coordinated efforts in the United Kingdom, Asia and Costa Rica. Easybets.com, which also includes the brands 248Casino.com, UK248.co.uk and G248.com was established in 1997. Currently, it has some 100,000 customers who are predominantly Asian based, over 70% from China and transacts 95% of its business over the internet.

Pedro Oller and Mauricio Bonilla advised Easy Bets on all aspects relating to its Costa Rican subsidiary and the particulars of the transaction as per local law. Counsel for BETonSPORTS plc was Rodolfo Saborío of Saborío & Coto.
