| GBM and ICE step into the Advanced Future of Internet
ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad) and GBM de Costa Rica signed this afternoon a $25.2 million contract. This solution, composed mainly of CISCO equipment and services, will be the backbone of a faster, more efficient, Internet access for all Costa Ricans. The new system has capabilities of sending 122,000 ten page documents or 610,000 e-mails in one second. The work order that CISCO received for this equipment is the fifth largest order in the World this year for them. When installed it will provide 2.75 broadband access points for every 100 "ticos", making it the most advanced network in Latin America. Oller Abogados was privileged to serve as lead counsel throughout the process and thanks its client, GBM de Costa Rica, for its trust and confidence. We wish them many more accomplishments this year.
